I am a licensed Real Estate Broker with Re/Max Success Realty and a member in good standing with the Real Estate Council of Ontario. I am an active founding member of the South Asia Research & Charitable Organization (SARCO), which has branches in all eight countries in South Asia. My published works help the community. I am a regular contributor of articles to various newspapers, including The Chronicle-Journal, “The Island”, “The Sunday Times”, “The Tamil Mirror”, “Uthayan”, “Kathiroli”, “Ulahathamilar”, “Tamil Guardian”, “Manitham”, and “Ilankai Tamil Sangam”. Currently, I am the publisher and editor-in-chief of the journal, Voice for Justice---a weekly bilingual newspaper in Canada. The aim of Voice for Justice is to represent the distant and the unheard voices of voiceless people the world over, especially those living under extremely difficult political, social, and economic conditions not of their making. I am also the publisher and editor-in-chief of the scholarly journal, International Journal of Human Rights and Constitutional Laws, which is a quarterly journal.
I founded the Prudential Legal Services in September 2010, which is a fully licensed firm that offers its clients knowledgeable and qualified legal advice and representation. I successfully ran the firm, drawing on my experience and knowledge through many years of education, hard work, and hands-on experience, working in one of Durham Region’s most reputed and established law offices, the Allyce Law Office. After receiving the Bachelor of Science in Biology (Natural Science) and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with Honours, I entered the Master of Arts in Integrated Studies degree program with specialization in Political Science at Athabasca University, then furthered my studies to acquire a Paralegal - Advocate Diploma in the academic year of 2009-2010. After acquiring my diploma, I also obtained an Alternate Dispute Resolution Certificate (ADR) making my proficiency in assisting in matters of mediation and conflict resolution. I wrote the LSO exam in August 2010 and successfully passed the first time. I began my PhD studies in the US in Criminal Justice with a specialization in Law and Public Policy. Further, I commenced my LLM with the specialization in Constitutional Law at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2000 and completed it in 2022.
